SCORE 3 on 3 basketball rec league is a rec/developmental age league that allow 2nd -5th grade /8yo-11yo to have fun, learn, sharpen skills, and compete in a way to build the foundations. 3 on 3 basketball provides a fun and effective way for children to learn and develop fundamental basketball skills while fostering teamwork and sportsmanship.

3 main benefits of 3 on 3 basketball for kids:
1. More development. Kids get more touches, shots, and handle the ball more in 3 on 3, which helps build skills faster.
2. Better conditioning. The fast pace of 3 on 3 leads to improved fitness, endurance and athleticism.
3. More fun. 3 on 3 is a more free flowing, fast paced game that many kids find more enjoyable and exciting than 5 on 5.
2nd through 5th graders will play in combined age groups. All players will be evaluated and teams will be organized to ensure balanced teams and competitive matchups as much as possible in order to provide a fun and enjoyable experience for all children.

Ball size = 7; Rim height 9 Ft
Practice then play
3v3 (5-6 players per team)
No steals on dribbling anywhere
Steals on passes are allowed
No double teaming. One defender guards one attacker.
After each basket, ball transferred to non-scoring team
No score keeper but kids are free to keep count
***Each player must play at least 50% of game
